Some of our most notable work includes a 20×50-foot custom steel cylinder rack for NASA's Garrett Research Center, floating marina dock systems, and custom industrial machines built to one-off specifications. We're equipped with a 10-ton overhead bridge crane and a 175-ton press brake for heavy work.
What industries do you typically serve?
We regularly serve agriculture, construction, municipal water utilities, manufacturing, marine and waterway operators, pipeline companies, aerospace and research institutions, and food processing facilities. Our client base spans the private and public sectors.
Do you fabricate stainless steel?
Yes. We fabricate and machine stainless steel for food-grade, sanitary, and corrosion-resistant applications. This includes stainless tanks, manifolds, structural members, and custom components.
How do I request a quote?
The easiest way is to fill out our quote request form on this website at latanick.com/quote. You can describe your project, upload drawings or photos, and specify your preferred timeline. You can also call us at (419) 433-2200.
What information should I include in a quote request?
The more detail you can provide, the better. Useful information includes: your project description, material and quantity requirements, dimensional drawings or sketches (PDF, DXF, or photos), desired timeline, and any specific standards or certifications required. If you're unsure, we're happy to discuss your project by phone first.
Do you offer 3D printing or rapid prototyping?
Yes. We offer industrial FDM 3D printing for prototype parts, tooling fixtures, and low-volume production components. This is useful for validating designs before committing to full metal fabrication.
What are your business hours?
Our shop and office are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time. We are closed on weekends and major federal holidays. For urgent project needs, feel free to call (419) 433-2200 during business hours.
Do you supply and install telescoping valves?
Yes. Latanick Equipment is a regional supplier and installation partner for WATT-brand telescoping rack-and-pinion valves. These are used in water, wastewater, and pipeline control applications. We handle supply, installation, and service.
Do you offer reverse engineering?
Yes. When original drawings no longer exist or a part is obsolete, we can measure and analyze the existing component and reproduce it to match, or improve on, the original. This is especially useful for legacy machinery, worn-out parts, and custom equipment where no documentation survives.
Can you fabricate parts from customer-supplied drawings or specs?
Yes. We regularly build from customer-supplied engineering drawings, CAD files (STEP, DXF, DWG), or detailed written specifications. Our team will review your drawings, confirm material and tolerance requirements, and provide a quote based on your documents.
Do you work with small businesses and individual customers?
Yes. While we handle large industrial projects, we also work with small businesses, contractors, and individual customers who need custom fabrication, repairs, or machined parts. There's no minimum project size, just reach out and describe what you need.
What is your typical lead time for fabrication projects?
Lead times vary depending on project complexity, material availability, and current shop capacity. Some simple repairs or small jobs can be handled same day when our schedule allows. Simple machined parts or small weldments can often be turned around in 1 to 2 weeks. Complex custom machine builds may take 4 to 12 weeks or more. We'll give you an estimated schedule as part of your quote.
Do you have a quality assurance process?
Yes. Our team performs in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools including digital calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and a granite surface plate. Welds are visually inspected and tested per applicable standards. We stand behind the quality of our work.
Can you help with equipment repair and rebuilding?
Yes. In addition to building new custom machinery, we repair and rebuild existing industrial equipment, including worn shafts, broken frames, cracked welds, and deteriorated components. If you have a piece of equipment that needs attention, bring it in or describe the issue and we'll assess the repair options.
